The Congressional oversight panel has released a batch of approximately 70 photos obtained from the property of late convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a tranche of more than 95,000 photographs the body has acquired from Epstein's property. It contains images of passages from the novel Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and obscured pictures of women's international passports.

This action occurs mere hours before the December 19th deadline for the DOJ to release every files connected to its probe into Epstein.

"These photographs raise more questions about what exactly the DOJ has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Disclosed

Several of the photographs made public on this week feature Epstein in discussion with professor and activist Noam Chomsky inside a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen alongside a female whose face is censored; Steve Bannon sitting at a workstation across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the newest affluent, influential figures to be pictured in Epstein property images published by the committee - formerly disclosed pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, former US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Being pictured in the photos is is not considered proof of any illegal activity, and several of the photographed men have stated they were not involved in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement issued alongside the photograph publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not offer background information or timings for the pictures.

"Photos were chosen to provide the American people with openness into a representative sample of the photos received from the property, and to offer perspectives into Epstein's associates and his exceptionally disturbing activities," the statement says.

The release also contains several photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in black ink across various areas of a woman's body, including her upper body, lower extremity, hipbone, and rear. Lolita tells the tale of a adolescent who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

One quote from the work written across a woman's torso states, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a number of photographs of women's identification and ID papers from nations globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the IDs, like identities and dates of birth, is censored but the committee indicated in a statement that the travel documents pertain to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

Another image shows Epstein seated at a table closely in the company of three women whose features have been redacted - one individual has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and another is bending to examine a close-by laptop. Epstein seems to be helping the final person attach a bracelet.

Another photo made public is a capture of SMS messages from an unidentified person who says they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Release Arrives Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The committee has many thousands of photographs in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "both explicit and everyday," its statement on Thursday clarified.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and documents the Epstein property provided to the committee are different than what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". Those are documents within the DOJ's custody related to its separate investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the Transparency Act, which Donald Trump signed into law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its files. The extent of the contents found in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's expected that a significant portion of the information will be significantly obscured, comparable to the committee's releases
